OQC was selected by Punj Lloyd to construct temporary facilities for Shah Gas Gathering (SGD- 1) Project due to team expertise and previous experience. This job was awarded as part of the massive Shah Gas

Development Project of Abu Dhabi Gas Development Company (Al Hosn Gas). OQC was up to the challenge to build the facilities to accommodate 1,200 people in a 200,000 SQM area for 2 years; the total period of the project work included site preparation, fencing, supply and installation of asphalt roads, walkways, foundations and all other civil works such as construction of generator room, kitchen, laundry, etc.

OQC was also responsible for providing electrical, firefighting and fire alarm systems, street lightning, water and sewage networks. In 2013, OQC participated as earth works contractor with M/s Inabensa, which worked on another stage of this project for providing 33Kv overhead lines connecting main pads and satellite pads to Shah Gas Plant.
