OQC was awarded the civil works sub-contract form M/s Punj Lloyd LTD for Spiking Compressor project for ADCO in Shah Oil Field.
OQC was concerned with early civil works consisting of earth works was main highlight was the disposal of 2,000,000 cubic meter of sand for site preparation, and backfilling of 500,000 cubic meter of sand.
Main civil works was part of OQC’s scope along with the construction of 3 pipe rakes foundations for 500 liner meter of above ground gas pipeline, construction of compressor foundation, and equipment foundations like metering skid Glycol Dehydration Unit (GDU), after coolers and pump foundations, miscellaneous pipe supports, accidently oil contaminated drainage network, and fire water network, roads and paving, fencing and slop stabilization.
This project was planned to recover the flared gas and avoid emissions in the atmosphere. Changes made with this project will also help in improving the environmental performance.
